This unnamed baby beaver, from the Tributes Gallery, is 3×3″ gouache on canvas, painted around the edges. Unframed. She can be displayed by hanging on the wall, adding magnetic stripping to the back and hanging on the refrigerator, or free-standing on a mini shelf or easel.
A “dibbuns” is a young creature in the stories of Redwall Abbey by the late Brian Jacques. Ofttimes, it is a “dibbuns” who gets into trouble and has to be rescued. The books are children’s stories that I found quite delightful and always entertaining. This little girl isn’t named, but I’m certain she’s a troublemaker, a thief of candied nuts, and a capable escapee. She’s collecting dandelions. You can create your own tale around her. She’s just one of many “nods” to Brian Jacques.
